Palmerton 3K

This is the third of four races in the Spartan North American 3k Elite Series.

The 3k is compromised of three rounds of competition. The first round is a 1k course with up to 45 participants going in waves of 15 every two minutes. Based on time, two-thirds of the athletes move to round two, another 1k course. The half of those athletes go into the final round comprised of three laps of the 1k course. The best 3 out of 4 races will count toward each athlete's series ranking.
