Spartan Trifecta World Championship 2019, hosted for third consecutive year in the city of Sparta. This year's racing weekend, which was full of action and adrenaline, was attended by over 2,000 athletes from 68 countries. This fact, that athletes from so many different countries were involved, makes this race the most "international" Spartan Race in the world. People of all ages and backgrounds had the opportunity to participate, and, at the same time, watching closely athlete’s efforts to become the new World Champions! Czech Richard Hynek became Trifecta World Champion, followed by Sergey Perelygin from Russia and Albert Soley from Spain. In women's category, American Nicole Mericle cut the finishing line first, followed by Eszter Hortobagyiova from Slovakia, while Russian Alisa Petrova in third place.

In the end, USA’s Nicole Mericle, the 2019 Spartan Women’s World Champion earned the No. 1 spot on the podium with a cumulative time of 4:36:27 after placing second in the 5K, 20-obstacle “Sprint;” and first in the 10K, 25-obstacle “Super” and 21K, 30-obstacle “Beast.” In the men’s race, Czech Republic’s Richard Hynek placed No. 1 with a cumulative time of 4:02:37 across the three race distances, with a second-place finish in the Sprint, sixth place finish in the Super and first place finish in the Beast.
